  • Processing and delivery times

    We Ground ship using UPS, FedEx, Amazon or DHL and aim to get all orders out on the next business day and sometimes even the same day. For most of the country, therefore, you will receive your order in less than 5 business days after placing it. This INCLUDES processing and ship times.

  • Christmas Delivery

    Orders placed for in-stock items before 11am on Monday December 18th will be delivered in time for December 25th.

  • Shipping restrictions

    We currently deliver only to the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not make international deliveries (including Australia, Canada and Puerto Rico). We also do not yet offer guaranteed overnight shipping. We do ship to US PO Boxes (allow 2 days extra transit time), but we are currently unable to fulfill shipments to APO or FPO addresses.

  • Combined orders

    Most products are shipped out together in one box and will arrive at the same time. If the order contains any 're-stocking' items we may send the available items immediately and the 're-stocking' items a few days later - there is no extra cost for this service. If the order is large and is shipped in more than one package, they may arrive separately-although that is rare. Tracking references and delivery date estimates are emailed to you for each package sent.

Additional shipping information

    • Where is my order?

      If the Amazon/UPS/FedEx tracking information shows the order has been delivered, be sure to check everywhere - occasionally carriers will leave packages with neighbors. If there is no tracking information or the tracking information shows the item as returned to us, contact us by email. We may have the wrong shipping address, the driver may have attempted to deliver it but been unsuccessful, or the carrier may have lost it.

    • What happens if I'm not home?

      It is up to the driver's discretion whether to require a signature when delivering your order or whether to simply drop it off at your doorstep or with a building manager or doorman. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature, he/she will try a few times to get one. After that, the package will be returned as "undeliverable" and you should get a full refund unless it is determined the order was improperly "refused." These undeliverable orders will not be resent. A new order must be placed. All orders over $100 require a signature.

    • Tracking your order

      We send you a shipment confirmation email once your order ships. In it we provide you the UPS/FedEx/courier tracking number you can use on www.ups.com or www.fedex.com to track your order.

    • Do you accept international orders?

      At present, we are unable to fulfill orders at Placemats.com to delivery addresses outside of the United States.
